Model 2 install instructions

Wiring color codes:

Harness Color                    Function                                               Factory Wire Color

Red                             Brake                                      Green w/ yellow stripe

White                          Ground                                    Connect to Green wire in white plug, or ground to frame

Brown                         Run                                         Brown wire

Green                          Right signal positive                 Blue wire in blue plug

Yellow                         Left signal positive                  Orange wire in orange plug

You can use the supplied red butt splices to connect the wires or you can solder and heat shrink the connections.

The ground wire can be connected to the green wire in the white plug or any spot on the frame but the wire holder bolt under the seat is an easy option.  Use the supplied ring terminal.

The right side of the battery cover tray has a nice place to put the run/turn/brake (RTB) module and you can use the wire holder to keep it in place.

The clear wires pictured are for my other LEDs  You wont have them.

The brown wire is your run wire and will get connected to the brown wire in the RTB harness.

The green wire from the white plug is not used.  It can be heat shrinked or electrical taped up.

Only the positive wire of the turn signal harness is used.

Heat shrink or electrical tape the ground wire (green wires) and hook up the orange and blue.

(for some reason a red x shows under this, but it is the picture below the red x)

The Black w/ yellow stripe wire is for the left signal (shifter side).  It has a black wire as its ground.

The Black w/ green stripe wire is for the right signal. (rear brake side)  it also has a black wire s its ground.

The light has color coded pigtails to be connected to the longer wires coming from the RTB module.

The black/yellow goes to the shifter side, the black/green goes to the rear brake side.

Again the supplied butt splices can be used or the wires can be soldered.  Determine what length you need the long wires from the RTB to be and cut off any excess.

The square black plastic tie wrap bases can be placed anywhere along the inside of the fender to support the wires on either side.  I included some tie wraps for these.  If you are running the factory sub frame, there are wire clamps like under the seat that can be used to secure the wires.

Correcting the fast flash

If you want to correct the fast blink rate, you can find a 2 pole electronic flasher relay at an auto parts store for less than 20 dollars.

This is what the factory relay looks like.  It has 3 wires coming out.  The Black w/ brown stripe is for the power (battery).  The Gray wire is to the lights (load) and the green wire is for the ground.  Cut the relay off and heat shrink the green wire, it is not used.

The new relay will have 2 poles.  One will be labeled L and one will be either X or B depending on the brand.  They both have the same function so it doesnt matter what it says.  The gray wire from the factory harness will go to the L terminal.  Use a female spade connector to attach it.  The Black/ brown wire will go to the other terminal.

Here is a picture of the relay I got.  You can probably show it to the parts counter and they can get you this one or a compatible one.  I did find that you must run 4 signals (front and rear) for the relay to operate correctly.  I had only rears and it wouldnt work so I installed fronts and it is 100%.

If you have any questions at all feel free to email me and I will get back to you ASAP.  If you leave me a number I can call you if you would like.  Thanks again and enjoy your new light.

Model 3 and 4 install instructions

Remove stock lights.  You can cut the wires so that there is some remaining near the light so you could reinstall the factory lights if you chose too.

For model 3 if you purchased the bracket, it comes with two long coupler nuts.  These screw on to the factory headlight bolts.  Then attatch the bracket with the two small bolts.

Model 5 install instructions

Install l.e.d. strips where ever you would like.  Usually the long ones go under the tank, the medium will go under the bike, and te short ones go under the rear fender.

You can daisy chain all the positives and all the negatives together.  Just run your wires and splice them together where they meet.

The switch can either be installed on the positive or negative wire, just cut the wire and install the switch in between the two ends.

The fuse holder goes  on the positive wire.  You can attach it to the battery post behind the right side cover, or the run wire under the seat(brown wire in white plug)

Model 6 install instructions

Install the strip on your plate with the supplied 3m strip.

Then run the wire behind the swingarm.

I include 2 small square tie wrap bases that you will stick on the back of the swingarm.  Use the zip ties to secure the wire to the tie wrap bases.

Run the wires up under the seat and attatch the silver wire to the factory run wire(brown in white plug) and the copper wire to the green factory wire in the white plug.
